Spiro Premetis is Executive Director - Policy and Advocacy of the Financial Services Council.
Spiro is responsible for coordinating and leading policy and advocacy at the FSC as the industry responds to ongoing legislative and regulatory change.
Spiro previously worked in the Federal Treasurer’s office as Adviser for Financial Services and Superannuation and at the FSC as a Senior Policy Manager in the life insurance portfolio and across tax and economics, as well within industry at FSC member companies and at the Federal Treasury.
Spiro has a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor Economics with Honours from the University of New South Wales, and a Master of Applied Finance from Macquarie University.
