Paul Sainsbury has held a number of leadership positions since joining AMP in 2000.
Paul joined the FSC Board as an Alternate Director in August 2018.
Paul’s business portfolio includes Customer Strategy & Experience, Customer Segments, and Marketing, Digital, Data & Analytics, Human Centred Design, Wealth Sales, Superannuation & Investment Platforms (Retail, Corporate and Self-Managed Superannuation categories) as well as a dedicated business Transformation team driving a Customer-Centric operating model and capabilities.
As AMP Integration Director from January 2010, Paul was responsible for AMP’s merger with AXA Asia Pacific Holdings Limited’s Australian and New Zealand businesses – recognised as one of the most successful financial mergers in Australian history.
Other previous AMP roles include Chief Customer Officer; Director Product Manufacturing; Chief Operating Officer, Advice & Services; Chief Operating Officer of Product Manufacturing and Director of Mature Products and Customer Service.
Paul has worked in the finance industry for more than 30 years. He started his career at ANZ Banking Group, where he spent 18 years working in various administrative, operational and leadership roles in Sydney and Melbourne.
