Keeping pace with the wave of ESG regulatory developments and expectations is a challenge and opportunity for the financial services sector.
From the International Sustainability Standards Board’s new IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards, on General Requirements for Disclosure of Sustainability-related Financial Information and Climate-related Disclosures, to an increased focus on greenwashing from ASIC and the ACCC, to continuing developments in global and domestic sustainability taxonomies.
With these developments come increasing risks that fund managers are not meeting the expectations of stakeholders and regulators. It is important that fund managers have good governance processes in place to manage increasing ESG regulatory risk.
Join Tania Sibree and Alexandra Banks from the team at EY as they discuss ESG governance risks and how fund managers can address them.
