Hans van Daatselaar is the Director of Superannuation Implementation at the Financial Services Council.
Hans van Daatselaar is the inaugural Director of Superannuation Implementation at the Financial Services Council (FSC), where he leads the Council’s efforts to support superannuation funds and their service providers in implementing regulatory change and enhancing operational efficiency across the industry. This is achieved through a unique collaboration model.
Hans brings over 30 years of experience in superannuation administration, policy implementation, and industry collaboration. At FSC, he leads initiatives to streamline superannuation processes, drive consistent standards, and coordinate industry engagement with regulators to ensure effective and timely implementation of reforms that benefit members and stakeholders.
He has played an active role in several key government and industry working groups, including the ATO Payday Super Working Group, ATO SuperStream Reference Group, ATO STP Advisory Group, ATO Cyber Security Stakeholder Group (CSSG), and the APRA Superannuation Data Transformation Strategic Forum.
Hans served as a director of the Gateway Network Governance Body for over nine years, during which he chaired the Remuneration Committee and was a member of the Security Committee.
Hans is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He holds a Diploma of Superannuation Management (ASFA) and a Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning), and has completed the University of Oxford’s Fintech Programme, INSEAD’s Innovation in the Age of Disruption Programme, and Harvard’s Cybersecurity: Managing Risk in the Information Age Programme.
