Since October 2017, David has been the Senior Legal Counsel at the Financial Services Council.
He has held extensive in-house roles for over 25 years, mostly in the financial services industry. David has worked for such companies as Hannover Life Re of Australasia Ltd, Marsh Pty Ltd, Trust Company, Charles Schwab and ASX. These roles involved legal, compliance and company secretarial responsibilities. While in corporate legal practice, David covered such areas as Life Insurance, Insurance broking, stockbroking, Trustee Companies and funds management.
David graduated with a Bachelor of Laws/Commerce from the University of New South Wales and a Master of Laws from the University of Sydney.
