Introduction

The Financial Services Council (FSC) is here to help you provide Australians with a fair and financially secure future. To do this well, we have launched a first-class website that delivers relevant content and exceptional user experiences. Watch our videos to see how to make the most of the new features, such as better content, mobile experience, the member portal, events and how to get started exploring the site.

Better Content

Our updated content experiences ensure you hear from thought leaders shaping the future and stay across the latest industry developments. We’ve made it easier for you to engage with more meaningful content and features, so you can get exactly what you need when you need it most.

Mobile Experience

Our industry has become increasingly mobile, so to help you stay up to date wherever you are, our content has been optimised across desktop and mobile devices. A modern look and easier navigation make it simple for you to find what you’re looking for and stay across the latest industry developments.

Member Portal

As an FSC member, you get access to more member-only material than ever before, including our upgraded member portal, which brings social interactions to the FSC. We’re excited at the possibilities this new portal provides and we’re confident it will help us better understand and serve your needs. Click here to become a member.

Events

Our events are some of the key experiences we deliver for the industry. The Life Insurance Conference and The Leaders Summit are our premier events and are focused on giving attendees the opportunity to make a positive impact on the future direction of their industry.

Getting Started

It's through our website that we keep you up to date and informed. To get access to our new and improved website, you’ll first need to log in before you can get started. These two videos will take you through the process depending on what type of user you are. If you have any issues, click here.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) about the new website

Why have you updated the site?

We know the website is our most important brand touch point. It’s through this channel that we keep our members and our wider audience informed and up-to-date with news, insights and features. It’s important that you can easily access the information you need, from any device and any location, so we’ve developed the site to be mobile responsive with user experiences tailored to whether you’re a member or non-member.

What’s different?

A modern look with easier navigation enhances your experience and makes it simple for you to get what you need. There will be more content such as blogs, articles, reports, fact sheets, videos and more to ensure you hear from thought leaders shaping the future and are across the latest industry developments. Our members will also receive access to more member-only material than ever before.

What’s new for members?

An updated member portal where you can:

  • Connect with industry influencers.
  • See the latest updates, including policy briefings, and other exclusive member content.
  • Participate in discussions, easier way to find and manage group documents.
  • Take part in polls.

What do you mean by “better content”?

We are committed to delivering constantly-updated content to view, play or download. This will all be easier to access to equip you with the knowledge to help shape your business and the financial services sector.

How do I become a member?

Click here to see how to become a member.

Can I access this on my mobile devices?

Yes. Because our members are increasingly mobile, often working away from the office in different locations, our new website provides a mobile responsive experience. With the desktop experience now extended to more mobile devices, members can engage with the FSC from any location.

Who needs to re-register?

Whether you are a member or non-member, you will need to re-register otherwise you won’t be getting the most out of your membership or registration. Members who don’t re-register will be missing out on all the new thought leadership, technical and regulatory information we will be making exclusive to you and available only inside the member portal. Non-members who don’t re-register will miss out on all the information we will be providing in 2017 as well as reminders of the great events FSC hosts every year, like our Leaders Summit.

Why do you need my correct contact details?

You will be sent an email with a unique code that will allow you to re-register for the site and access a range of new content and experiences. It’s therefore essential that we have your correct contact details. Q: Will any of my details change? A: When you re-register you will need to set up a new account for the new website.

What happens if I forget my password?

Click on the ‘Forgot my password’ button to reset your password.

What happens if I don’t register?

If you are part of a member organisation and don’t register you won’t have access to the new member portal and additional features.

How can I let my colleagues know about this?

If you want others to know about our revamped site simply send them our site URL and encourage them to register.
