WINNERS AT THE CHANT WEST SUPER FUND AWARDS 2018

The Chant West Super Funds Awards Gala was held in Sydney on 23 May 2018.

The FSC's Director of Policy & Global Markets, Allan Hansell, along with Chant West's Head of Research Ian Fryer presented the award for Best Fund: Innovation to AMP

The Chant West Super Fund Awards recognise the best super and pension funds in Australia, and the focus of this year’s awards has been on member outcomes, taking their lead from APRA’s new outcomes assessment model.

“The secret of success for both super funds and for individuals working in those funds is to pursue member best interest in a passionate and uncompromising way," said Ian Fryer.

“This industry and we as individuals will only succeed if we fulfil our mandate to do what is best for members and to direct all our energies to that goal.”

Chant West Holdings Limited CEO Brendan Burwood congratulated all the winners on the night.

“The focus of this year's awards is member outcomes,” Burwood said. “The awards provide an opportunity to drive excellence and innovation by highlighting who is achieving better member outcomes for their members in important areas such as investments, member services, advice, and insurance. Our objective is to inspire the industry to achieve greater heights!”
